I’m pretty sure my subconscious is always thinking of Diensybounds, because I swear I didn’t put this look together on purpose. We had a company outing planned to Southern Hills Farm, and when everyone else bailed, three of us decided to go anyway, and my friend Elizabeth brought her pup Frankie for a fall photo shoot with my new Canon 5D Mark IV (yes, I did just have a new Nikon – don’t anymore, it’s a long story, makes me angry so I’m not gonna tell it).
(Hey! I use affiliate links here! Just so ya know!)
Unbeknownst to me at the time, I was just starting to come down with a really, really bad upper respiratory infection, so instead of my usual “planning my outfit the night before”, I went to sleep at 7pm. Oops. I had just ordered a few new casual Fall dresses from Red Dress Boutique, so I threw on a rust-colored shift dress from that haul and was ready to call it a day when my hair decided that it was quite over the Florida humidity and scrunched all up in my face.
My new favorite go-to hair accessory is the headband, and yes, I know it’s trendy. But it also serves a purpose: keeping my dang hair out of my face. I own a ton of headbands but the only color that was remotely Fall-ish was this yellow one from a small shop I love called Rarity by Casey. She opens her shop once a month and hand makes all the bow bands she sells. I discovered her on Instagram through some other Disney bloggers I follow and I buy at least one band from her every shop opening.
The weekends are the only days I switch purses, so I grabbed my new Cogsworth crossbody from Harvey’s which I’d bought during their recent summer sale. They have amazing Disney collaborations, and this one has been on my to-buy list for quite some time!
I looked in the mirror on the way out the door and that’s when I realized I was accidentally Disneybounding to the pumpkin patch!
Dress: Red Dress Boutique, $48
Headband: Rarity by Casey (similar on Amazon), $7.99
Purse: Harvey’s California, $180
Sneaker: Converse, $49 ( I live in these – so comfy and they go with everything!)
A big THANKS to Elizabeth for being a boss with the camera, and to Macy for letting me borrow the pretty flower bouquet she picked! Have you ever put an outfit together and realized you were accidentally Disneybounding? Leave me a note in the comments!
