When I started this blog I told myself I was not going to be one of those people who apologizes for not blogging as often as one thinks they should, particularly since currently I am working under the assumption that only like four of you are actually reading it right now. I started this post the day after Dapper Day, like a kid excited to share her Christmas presents, and now here it is two weeks later and the images are still sitting here wordless.
#targetdoesitagain. Someone tell Flora & Merryweather to stop bickering already because I found a dress that makes them both happy! I was going to forgo a new Easter dress this past weekend due to the recent closet-cleaning-out and the fact that Miss Stella needs her teeth cleaned (can someone figure out a less expensive way to clean a dog’s teeth, please), but then I stumbled across this $29 number at Target, on sale for $25.
One of the perks of living in Orlando is that in lieu of being able to take an actual vacation this spring (yay, deadlines), I can go on safari in my own back yard! The Animal Kingdom, in my humble opinion, is one of the most under-rated Disney parks. Sure, there aren’t as many rides as the other parks offer, but they make up for it with the many healthy and yummy food choices (sorry, Casey’s hot dog) and all the cute animals (I’m lookin at you, sheep with hidden mickey shaved onto your butt cheek).
One of my very favorite fesitvals ever is Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and I’ve been more times than I can count on all fingers. If your only perception of Mardi Gras is ‘Bourbon Street and boobs’ then you are missing out on arguably the best part of Mardi Gras – the parades (this is where people get all the beads – not by showing their boobs, sorry guys).
It’s the last week to check out the 2019 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, and if you haven’t been, you may be overwhelmed with the choices this year! I’m so happy that this festival has grown into a mini Food & Wine with the huge selection of culinary and beverage offerings you can sample at the festival kiosks. Being a huge Broadway fan, this festival has just about everything I love: food, drinks, art and Broadway stars! I’ve rounded up my top picks to help you narrow down your tasting selections (and avoid getting too drunk!)
